    DEPUTY DIRECTOR (BRONX)Minimum Salary: $90

    The Deputy Director (DD) is a new position reporting directly to the Executive Director. The DD will be responsible for ensuring that HAF’s infrastructure, systems and programs are robust to support the organization’s ongoing services. We are seeking a mission-focused, seasoned, strategic and process-minded leader to manage HAF’s day-to-day activities and ensure compliance with city, state, and federal regulations. In particular, the DD will manage the organization’s finances consistent with generally accepted accounting principles and federal, state and city mandated requirements as well as oversee the Administration and Operational functions of the organization. This role will actively oversee the development and implementation of budgets and contracts and related reporting requirements, data analysis, quality assurance and evaluation for all departments, will inform and advise the Board of Directors (BOD) regarding the organization’s operations and will serve as a key member of the Leadership Team, providing direction and oversight as the primary internal leader of the organization.

    Credentials: Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; MPA or MBA preferred and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience; thorough knowledge of budgeting and accounting practices, processes, and procedures of non-profit organizations; strong organizational and project management skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail; and strong upervisory and leadership skills with a proven ability to work effectively independently and as a highly resourceful collaborator under pressure and within deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

    EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (QUEENS)$60K

    The Executive Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative, office, development, and media and community relations support activities to aid the CEO efficiently manage the organization and its mission.

    Credentials: Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in the health and human services field; strong organizational and office management skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail; and possess excellent verbal / written communication skills.

    COORDINATOR, MLM SERVICES (BRONX)Minimum Salary: $60K

    The coordinator-MLM Services is responsible for the planning, coordination, and monitoring of comprehensive programming directed at Latino men who love men (MLM). The coordinator supervises and supports the team to ensure effective implementation of the different services and interventions, which include, but are not limited to, sexual health and wellness promotion and education, sexual health screenings, emotional support, advocacy and linkage to services, personal development, leadership training, and community engagement and development.

    Credentials: Candidates must possess a master’s degree in public health, social work, or related field plus 5 years field experience in conducting wellness promotion services, community organizing, and public policy advocacy related to the diverse Latino MLM communities of New York City, particularly in the South Bronx and Upper Manhattan. The candidate must possess knowledge and skills related to quality assurance, program monitoring and evaluation, a high degree of organizational and time management skills, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, role-modeling ability, leadership skills and team player qualities.

    WELLNESS COACH II (1FTE-BRONX) Minimum Salary: $45K

    The Wellness Coach II is responsible for the implementation and provision of sexual wellness services. Specifically, they develop and manage a caseload of MLM, providing counseling on safe sex and management of STI risk, HIV/HCV testing, support for HIV treatment management, PrEP support services, and appropriate referrals and linkage to care services. They co-facilitate support groups, workshops, and peer educator training and actively participate in service promotion and community engagement.

    Credentials: Candidates must possess an associate degree in health or social services plus 5 years of relevant work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred plus 2 years of relevant experience.

    WELLNESS COACH I (BRONX) Minimum Salary: $41K

    The Wellness Coach I is responsible for the implementation and delivery of sexual wellness services. Specifically, develops and manages the retention of a caseload of MLM and provides safer sex and STI risk management counseling, HIV / HCV screening, HIV-treatment management support, PrEP Support Services, and appropriate referrals and linkage to care services. Co-facilitates support groups, workshops, and peer educator training. Actively participates in the promotion of services and community engagement.

    Credentials: Candidates must possess high school or equivalent diploma plus 3 years’ relevant experience; associate degree preferred plus 1-year relevant experience; excellent social and communications skills and good familiarity of communities served and their salient social norms.

    WELLNESS COACH III (BRONX)(QUEENS). Minimum Salary: $55K

    The Wellness Coach III is responsible for providing individual psychoeducational counseling and coaching, as well as facilitating groups aimed at supporting the personal development goals and aspirations of the target population. They develop, coordinate, and conduct educational workshops focused on promoting knowledge, skills, and practices aimed at maintaining/improving positive health/wellness outcomes and addressing relevant social determinants faced by the Latino MLM.

    Credentials: Candidates must possess a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, holistic health, or a related field, as well as 3 years of experience providing supportive counseling and wellness services to MLM individuals and in group settings. Wellness and Life Coach Training is an advantage, but not required.
